About Us

The main function of the Club is to play bowls. The majority of matches are outdoor friendlies against other clubs located within approximately a 10 mile radius of Esher. These matches take place at weekends, as well as during the week between the middle of April and the end of September. Most of these matches are mixed, although there are some men only games. There is a Ladies Section who play their 'friendly' matches midweek. Additionally the Club plays some mixed indoor matches during the winter months.

On a more competitive note we hold internal club competitions and have an internal league which takes place on Wednesday or Thursday evenings during the season. We also compete in external competitions and play in two external leagues.

Our Clubhouse has all the usual amenities including a disabled toilet and disabled access to the Clubhouse and green. We well as a small kitchen there is a fully licensed bar which is open on all match days and roll ups and prices are very reasonable. Equipment for the bowling green is provided but members do have to provide their own footwear, clothing and woods, once coaching is completed.
