MIXED CLUB COMPETITION

MIXED PAIRS

This is an open mixed pairs competition with full handicap allowance. The total of each pairs allowance is to be added to the score card before the start of play. The draw is seeded which should give each pair an even chance and is ideal for all bowlers.
The winners in each round and in the final are the pair with the highest score after 21 ends. In the event of a tie additional ends will be played until an extra point is scored.
MIXED TRIPLES
This is an open mixed triples competition with no handicap allowance. The draw is seeded so as to give all teams an even chance.
The winners in each round and in the final are the team with the highest score after 18 ends. In the event of a tie additional ends will be played until an extra point is scored.
MIXED TWO WOOD
This is a singles knockout competition with no handicap allowance. The draw is made on the day of the competition (date will be notified on the notice board).
The winner in each round and in the final is the player with the highest score after playing 21 ends. In the event of a tie additional ends will be played until an extra point is scored.
AUSTRALIAN MIXED PAIRS
This is an open mixed pairs competition with no handicap allowance. The draw is made on the day of the competition (date will be notified on the notice board).
The winners in each round and in the final are the players with the highest score after playing 18 ends. In the event of a tie additional ends will be played until an extra point is scored.
PETER FLETCHER LEAGUE
This is an open mixed triples competition with no handicap allowance. The draw is seeded so as to give all teams an even chance.
When all teams have played an equal number of games the winners will be the team with the highest score. In the event of a tie the winners will be the team with the highest differential.
If a team cannot raise any players for a designated match, and a replay is not possible, that team must concede to the other team.
If a team can only raise 2 players, the match must be played but the 25% less rule will be applied to the score.
In the event of a match being called off due to bad weather, a replay can be arranged.
All teams must play an equal number of games by the end of the competition.

Pairs = 4 bowls Triples = 3 bowls Two Wood = 2 bowls

Anyone who has been bowling for 5 years or more
Competition Committee discretion
2nd year of bowling and not reached a final in any competition
Novice in the 1st full year of bowling
